who we are

The Deleawe Foundation has been providing university scholarships, vocational career assistance, and educational materials to young Nigerians since 2010. We are an arm of Hearts of Compassion incorporated, a non-profit organization registered under section 501 C 3 of the US Internal Revenue Code. The larger vision of the corporation is to impact all round skill development among young people.

Project Hope is designed to empower grade school students in rural Nigeria to hope for a brighter future through education by providing school supplies, motivational messaging, and, engaging academic challenges

Project Hope Youth Empowerment Assembly & Backpack Drive

The Project Hope Youth Empowerment Assembly brought over 300 5th and 6th grade from several towns within the Ijero local government area in Ekiti State, Nigeria together to receive encouraging messages of hope from professionals who had similar background but achieved success with hope, hard work, and the grace of God.

Project Hope Essay Competition & Reading Challenge

The Deleawe Foundation launched an essay competition among 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students at Ipoti Community Secondary School and Ipoti High School in Ipoti, Ekiti were challenged to identify a problem in their community/environment (such as technical, environmental, or health challenges) and write a 2 page essay about how they would solve it.

Scholarship & Community Empowerment

Since 2013, the Deleawe Foundation has sponsored over $50K in college tuitions through about 100 annual scholarships in 2 LGDAs of Ekiti, Nigeria, S=sponsored High School exit exams registration (WAEC & NECO) for over 200 students, and helped launch over small businesses by supplying equipment for artisans to operate after learning a trade.
